Fit ‘n Fun at First

VanFUMC is hosting their first 5k run, fun run for kids and community carnival on Saturday, June 1. We are excited to host this event and are looking for help in all areas: food service, run greeters and monitors, game hosts, and more.

“Books and Bugs” Literary Night at Washington Elementary

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with Washington Elementary School’s last literary night of the year on Monday, June 10. We will be cooking and serving dinner for the students as well as helping out with some of the activities. The evening will examine non-fiction books about bugs. What a great way to end the school year!

Share House Cooking Teams

VanFUMC provides cooking teams to prepare and serve lunch to the homeless at Share House every Thursday. If service to the community is something you would like to do, this is a great opportunity for fellowship and service.
