Children/Youth
Vancouver First has long recognized the importance of children and youth ministries in a vital faith community. We have programs in place for all ages. Please explore the links to the left to discover more of the activities your youth and children can participate in at Vancouver First.
From Children's Church during worship service to summer camps, elementary-aged children and younger enjoy a multitude of opportunities to have fun while engaging in their spiritual journey. A monthly newsletter, Kids News, describes upcoming opportunities for children who are 5th grade and younger.
Youth directors are on staff helping to facilitate activities for both junior high (6th-8th grade) and senior high (9th-12th grade) youth. These activities include weekly youth group meetings, fellowship, classes, and outreach opportunities, such as mission trips.
Vancouver First pledges to conduct the ministry of the gospel in ways that assure the safety and spiritual growth of all of our youth/children, as well as those who work with them. To this end, all of our nursery staff and office staff who regularly work with youth/children are First Aid/CPR certified. In addition, all of our staff and youth/children volunteers have completed a background check with Washington State Patrol.
