Thoughts from Pastor Eilidh
Volunteers are the heartbeat of this church. From greeting people in the office to leading with music on Sunday mornings to facilitating classes to visiting others it is impossible to capture all the service and work emanating from this place. There are so many different kinds of gifts on display too. Paul talks about the body of Christ and all the parts working together for the health of the whole. We live that out every day! It feels overwhelming to recognize and appreciate all of this love and service poured out in our church, but our Lay Leader Mary and I are going to try. This Sunday after worship we will have a potluck to celebrate all our volunteers and award 10 select people a Vanny. This is something that we will do annually, to honor just a few of the amazing people that are contributing so much. Award recipients were chosen to represent a wide swath of the church. Come on Sunday to honor all our volunteers and to cheer especially loudly for the 10 Vanny winners. And know that even if you don’t get a Vanny this year your service and dedication are vital for this community. Blessings, Pastor Eilidh

Note from the Finance TeamThank you for your generosity Leadership continues to monitor our budget and use new systems to keep track of how we are living into our plans. There are definitely places where we can improve our processes and where we may have been unrealistic in how much things actually cost. This is a great year for continued learning and conversation. First quarter giving statements will be sent out in mid April as part of keeping everyone in the loop around our finances. Don’t hesitate to ask questions of any of our finance team as we continue to work together to steward all of our resources well.
