I have been so inspired by the grace and clarity of my clergy colleagues in Spokane and across our region who have been impacted by wildfire.  Their love and care for their neighbors in the midst of their own suffering has been profound. In the latest PNW newsletter Patrick Scriven shared the following: "United Methodist volunteers have already been active staffing a UMCOR table at the Disaster Assistance Center at Shadle Park High School in Spokane, handing out kits, prayerful support, and resources to survivors. They are also attending community meetings, making connections, and developing plans for future recovery efforts."
