Bible Bucks Reward Party!Congrats Young Disciples! You've Earned It! Dear Parents, This Sunday is our exciting Bible Bucks Rewards party! We're so proud of all the hard work your Young Disciples have put in this semester—memorizing scripture, showing up faithfully, serving the church, and growing in Jesus. We’ll meet in class as usual, with check-in as early at 9:45 AM. To make the morning extra special, we’ll have pizza, sandwiches, fruits, veggies, desserts, chips, and drinks. We’ve prepared an arcade-style prize table (photo attached) featuring fun items inspired by the monthly themes from this past year, as well as rewards the kids have requested. It’s our way of celebrating their dedication and starting summer with joy! Special Rewards Include: Summer Treat Gift Cards (50 Bible Bucks each):

In the Spotlight at First ChurchSpotlight on Trustees While summer plans are on the horizon for many, the Trustees of First Church continue to work diligently on several important projects. Here are some of the latest updates:
- C-Tran has partnered with First Church to construct a new shelter for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Main Street project. This shelter will not interfere with our driveways or trees, and construction is expected to begin this summer.
- We will be installing new energy-efficient LED lights in the building.
- The solar and battery project is progressing under the leadership of Tracy Rothwell.
- New signs for our parking lots have been designed and will be installed soon.
- We are currently seeking estimates for a new roof over the lobby and south sacristy. For more infomation visit: |

Help Needed!Food & Gift Card Drive for LCSNW - Monday, June 9, 2025 Help Needed!
Lutheran Community Services NW is helping four families from Afghanistan as they transition into new homes in Vancouver, WA. For the next two weeks, they will be gathering essentials for ten adults and twelve children ages 1 and 14.
Here are some specific needs:
You can drop off your monetary contributions at the church office, where LCSNW will collect them. Clothing donations can be placed in the tote located near the lobby elevators.
