This week, we'll be exploring the joy of the law in as part of our Strength & Resilience series. 

We just recieved our year end reports and giving for 2025 exceeded our budgeted expectations by nearly $31,000. Your generosity means we ended the year $16,481 in the black.  While we still are drawing down our endowment and relying on gifts from the foundation, we are definetly moving towards a sustainable budget thanks to your faithfulness!

There is so much bubbling up this winter and into spring! We have lots of wonderful things on the calendar and ways to gather, connect, learn, and serve.  Coming up in February we have the Sweetheart Luncheon on the 13th at 11:30am. Everyone is a sweetheart, so no need to bring a date!  We will provide lunch and a program about love songs.  At the end of February and beginning of March the missions teams will host learning sessions in the Conrad room to help us engage with the seasonal issue of homelessness. Other activities on the horizon include a March 6th field trip to see the Tigard High School musical 9 to 5,  the March 13th Vannys, a potluck and volunteer award celebration following worship, the April 17th Dessert Auction with dinner catered by Laverne's Memphis Ribs, on April 19th we will pack hygiene kits for UMCOR, and on May 31st our children will lead worship and we will celebrate with a pizza party afterwards.  We are also headed to Ocean Park Camp for a work weekend March 20-21. And there will be special worship services for the holy days associated with Lent.

 It is such a joy to be gathering in so many different ways for so many purposes.  Our community life is sure vibrant and full. I bought the calendar in the image above to help us keep track of it all, the downside is no one else can read my hand writing!
