Thoughts from Pastor EilidhThe beauty of the natural world is sacred. So many people share that when they are out in nature,be it taking a hike, looking at the ocean, tending their garden, enjoying the zoo with littles, or flying across the sky, they have a sense of connection to God the creator. This week we will celebrate the beauty of places. Where brings you peace or comfort? Where do you feel close to God? We give thanks to God for the spaces and places that touch our hearts and steady our souls. Bring a picture to worship or email in one for us to print. We will worship surrounded by places of comfort and beauty. My picture is of trees in my backyard just after sunset. <3

Little Acorn Kids Clothing SwapDo you have kids' closets to purge? Bring gently used kids winter clothes to the lobby between Nov. 12th and Nov. 17th to donate to the Little Acorn Clothing Swap. Donations will help preschool families get some of the winter gear their littles will need. |

VSAA's Annual Chili FeastOur annual Chili Feast event is happening next Wednesday on the 19th! Over the past 2 years we were able to support the purchase of much needed Pug mill to recycle clay, and a new pottery wheel, so we are up to 12 functioning wheels. Our next big purchase will be a set of new shelving for Pottery 2, plus some new glazes and kiln shelves. You can purchase a ticket in advance (use the QR code) or pay at the door : $15 for current students $20 for general admission $35 for 2 tickets With this admission fee you are supporting the program, but ALSO, you will get to pick out a handmade bowl to keep, to enjoy delicious chili dinner in, while enjoying student performances. We will also have a Pottery/ Art sale with some of my own/ student/ and other works. |
