Thoughts from Pastor Eilidh

This week is all about Joy! Mary's joy as she prepares to give birth to one who will set the world aright, our joy as we welcome new members to our church, and joy in the light we see all around us in the darkness. This is not a false jollity, or a temporary happiness. The joy that we find in God is one of deep contentment, mixed with gratitude and vibrancy. It is a joy that is with us in grief and sorrow, not to minimize those feelings or experiences, rather to remind us of the fullness of God’s love and the wonder of life.

Keep looking for Christ is surely breaking into the world!
