Ministry Partners

Little Acorn Preschool, a ministry of Vancouver First United Methodist Church since 1981, has long served both the church and broader community. From the beginning, our inclusive, play-based, and child-centered program has left religious teaching to each family’s discretion—a philosophy still honored today.

We offer a part-time preschool experience that values active learning, freedom of choice, and respect for each child’s individuality. All children are welcome, regardless of background.

Through hands-on exploration and self-directed play, we help children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

We’re proud to have been named Best Preschool in The Columbian’s Best of Clark County in 2015, 2019, and 2020, and to be a BBB-accredited program since 2019. We love sharing The Little Acorn Way with our families and community.
