Thoughts from Pastor Eilidh

Happy Anniversary! I have had the honor of serving as your pastor for a year now. In that time we have cleaned out the youth pastor's office, organized the living room area, started work on a legacy garden in the alcove, cleaned out the treasurer’s office, launched the Vanny’s volunteer recognition event, held a Sweetheart Luncheon, moved the Children’s Sunday School upstairs, done art in worship, prayed with rocks, held a fire drill during worship, changed staff, held a dessert auction, had our children lead us in worship in a variety of ways, had a strategic planning retreat, and enjoyed Martin’s sung communion. I have visited 138 of you which has been a wonderful way to get to know more about each one of you and the church as a whole. This year was really about figuring out what was what and connecting. Now we get to do the work of Building Belonging. We’ll be looking at how we belong to one another, how our church belongs in the fabric of the wider community, and how we belong to God. Mark your calendars for October 3rd, which will be a day long retreat (9am-4pm) focusing on how we see the world and one another as we begin to really understand our place in the fabric of God’s dream for Vancouver.

So excited to being year 2 with you all.

Allegro Project!

Information Sessions

Information meetings on the campaign will occur this Summer in the Sanctuary. We encourage you to come to one or all three of these meetings to learn more about The Allegro! Campaign and its components.
