In April of 2026, Sarah Flint moved to the Vancouver area from Amelia Island in Florida where she previously served on the staff at both Memorial United Methodist Church and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, as well as the Creation Care Team for the Florida Conference of the UMC. She is a certified UMC EarthKeeper, a Blessed Tomorrow Climate Ambassador, and a candidate for the UMC Deaconess/Home Missioner lay order.
Sarah’s work as Cultivator of Land and Belonging involves doing her part to create an environment where humans and more-than-humans flourish. She is partnering with Vancouver First’s Earth Advocates and other groups to promote earth stewardship across the ministries of the congregation as well as on our property. She is also available to help members of our church community (especially newcomers) to find a sense of belonging both within the church and through community partnerships.
Sarah lives in Ridgefield with her husband Brian, dog Molly, and cat Parsley. Sarah and Brian’s greatest joy comes from their two young adult daughters, Emily and Carmen.
