A Celtic Pilgrimage of Belonging: Scotland 2027

Join Vancouver First UMC in October 2027 for a pilgrimage to Scotland exploring what it means to belong—to God, to one another, to our neighbors, and to creation.

We’ll begin in Edinburgh, spending several days serving and learning alongside the Richmond-Craigmillar community. Then we’ll journey west, crossing the waters to the island of Iona, where we’ll spend four nights immersed in prayer, worship, walking, reflection, and the beauty of this sacred place.

This is more than a trip to Scotland. It is a pilgrimage outward and inward—and an opportunity to return home inspired to build deeper belonging in our own community.
