Pastor Eilidh's Invite to Kickoff - Join Us!

This coming Sunday is our kick off celebration!  Fall is when so much of our programing and life as a church resumes.  Choir rehearsals pick up, youth group starts, classes come back into session.  We are celebrating with a traditional fall theme- football.  Wear jerseys or team colors as we celebrate starting a new year on September 7th. I’ll be in my Bills Mafia Zubaz dress. After worship we will head upstairs to Jason Lee Hall for a sandwich bar, ministry fair, and some games.  It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy a meal together, and have fun as a community!

Kick-off Sunday is one of the traditions of the church. Especially in the Pacific Northwest we often take time in the summer to encounter God in nature or in our travels.  As the seasons change we find ourselves once again engaging in the routine of church attendance, small group gatherings, and ringing together. We are so fortunate that this church community has so many places to engage.  As our life of the church team ramps up we will be creating more places for connection, service, learning, and joy. God invites us to celebrate the rhythms of life and to take time as the season change to reflect on how God is calling us to engage in this moment. Maybe you will find just the right new path at that ministry fair!
