Thoughts from Pastor Eilidh

Honoring the saints

This week in worship we will be giving thanks for the great cloud of witnesses that surround us in love. The first Sunday in November is All Saints Sunday, when we remember those who have died in the past year and reflect on all those in our lives who have been saints to us. As a sign of our gratitude we will be displaying photos of those who have passed on. Please bring a photo in to worship or email a digital picture we can print so that we can literally be surrounded by those we are grateful for as we worship. I'll be sharing these pictures of my grandparents, Jack and Betty Shaffer and my parents, John and Jane Shaffer. Their faith and love are part of what made me the pastor I am today! I am so grateful for them and know they continue to love me even beyond this world.

New Office Hours

Church office open 9am-1pm Monday and Tuesdays and by appointment

We have heard you! It is frustrating to show up at the church and find the doors closed and no one in the office. We are adjusting our hours to make sure we can nearly always guarantee someone is here at the building when you drop by.

Mondays and Tuesdays from 9am to 1pm you can drop by, or you can contact the office to set up an appointment for later in the week. If you want to make sure you catch Pastor Eilidh or Tabby please make an appointment as both of them have commitments and responsibilites that take them out of the office regularly during the day. This is a 6 month expereiment so please let us know how this change works for you!
