We will be celebrating Pentecost this Sunday.  Part of worship will include a special dance featuring our own Daniel Matrinez.  We will also be holding a fire drill during worship.

Following worship this week we will hold a time of sacred conversation in Jason Lee Hall for anyone who wants space to talk and lament regarding Michael Wilmington and the heartbreaking revelations coming out. Pastor Eilidh will provide this space for healing and grief.

Coming back from vacation it is easy to see the amazing life and energy of this congregation. There are so many ideas, lots of people stepping up to volunteer & support the work of the church, and lots of good things happening.  I feel like I am struggling to keep up with everything God is pouring out into us. The $2.4 million Allegro! Project is just $386,175 away from being fully funded. Office Angels are coming in to the church even on days when they are not signed up to help with administrative tasks.  We are working towards so many events and programs including a Feast of Creation Sunday in August and an Art & Craft fair in November.  As we recognize the spark of the spirit in our midst there is much to celebrate in our community in this season. Even as we grieve and lament the pain we know in this world, we can see God's hand in healing, honest conversation, and the solidarity of simply sitting with those affected.  I am so honored to get to pastor this church in this time.  Thank you for your patience and care of me as I work to be a partner in all that God is sending our way!

Our children will lead us in worship followed by a pizza celebration.

Using the book Taste and See, Discovering God Among Butchers, Bakers, and Fresh Food Makers, by Margaret Feinberg, we will explore scripture from manna in the wilderness to the very bread of life – Jesus.

We will gather via Zoom on Thursday evenings, 6:30-8 p.m. beginning June 11.  Each of the six lessons is a stand-alone session.

Join the team on Third Thursdays this summer from 9am-noon to sort through historical items, goodwill treasurers and more.

Celebrate the end of summer with a time of fun, fellowship, faith development, and free time!
